Values Awards - Cooperation
On the final Friday of this half-term we celebrated one of our six values of COOPERATION. Mr Horsley led the awards - and the dancing - down our famous red carpet. The class teachers had each prepared something to say about the winners of this term's awards and explained how they demonstrated cooperation this term.
Winners are always encouraged to dance down the red carpet to receive their awards as the rest of the school clap encouragement.
In addition to Miss Wagstaff's inspirational poem selection about this term's value (see below), Mrs Matsangou - along with some of the Year 5s - had prepared a rap about cooperation, which they performed during the event. Here are the lyrics that they came up with.
Cooperation is a core life skill,
It helps you work together - respectfully
Compromise is what you do
Collaborate with others and you'll all get through
If you work together, you'll achieve
Everyone is equal so just believe
Teamwork makes the dream work so keep... it... UP!
