Fractions Game

As a recap of our fractions unit, the children have played a game in which they were practising adding minded number fractions, improper fractions and simplifying the answers. They loved spinning the counters (we had a lesson in this too) to see where their counter landed. They then added the fractions together to get their answer to claim their tile, simplifying these when needed. The winner was the first to score four in a row. Lots of fun and securing their knowledge of fractions all at once!
