Crime Scene...comma investigation!

This morning, we returned from assembly to find crime scene tape stretched across our classroom doors. After finding our way into the room, we found that there had been some serious crimes...commas crimes committed! Commas have proved to be our nemesis this year, so we really needed to get to grips with how to correct comma use and ensure that we are accurate with our comma punctuation. In groups of detectives, we had to unpick the comma crimes that had been committed before correcting them. It really helped to remind ourselves of the reasons that commas are or are not needed and something else is needed instead.

Great comma detective work, year 6!
