'If the dinosaurs came back...'

This week we listened to the story 'If the dinosaurs came back'.  The children discussed what might happen if dinosaurs were alive today.  They decided that they would help us mow the lawns, build tall buildings, be good pets and eat people!!  The children used their sound knowledge to complete the sentences from the story.  In maths, we have been learning about number bonds of 10.  The children have also matched sentences to dinosaur pictures, ordered events within a day and coloured dinosaurs.  The blue challenge this week was to brush some giant teeth.  The children used toothpaste to brush off the dirt and discussed the importance of teeth brushing.  On Wednesday, the children were very excited to visit the pond area.  They listened really well to the rules and explored the surroundings well!
