Exciting storybook activities

Today we logged on to a 'Zoom' event hosted by Scholastic and listened to the author of 'That's my flower' read her book. We then joined in with a draw along activity where we learnt to draw characters from her book. 
This afternoon, our Reading Support Specialists Mrs Warren and Mrs Speirs hosted a bookshop in the school library where the children received not only their World Book day vouchers but also a free book to take home and keep!
