Author visit - Jenny McLachlan

Jenny McLachlan is an incredible author - one of Mrs Cox’s favourites! The Land of Roar series are magical adventure stories taking readers on a journey to save ‘Roar’: a magical place that has grown from the games that Arthur and Rose Trout have created. 

In her new book, Rose imagines a new realm hidden in the North of Roar - The Dragonlands - where there is a dragon school! Jenny McLachlan read an extract from the moment the children arrived at the school. We also took a quiz to decide which ‘house’ we would be in: Flame or Fang. Finally, she taught us how to draw our very own dragons!

We cannot wait for the book to arrive in our classrooms!
