Arithmetic Link It!

In Mrs Cox's arithmetic group, instead of doing a test this week, we honed our skills. We worked on our fluency, reminded ourselves about long division and even devolved into the world of algebra (and were quite shocked to find that we've been doing it for many years)!

In groups, we worked to solve a range of equations and find the calculations that 'linked' as they had the same answers. We had to prove that we had fully checked our answers as proof! This provoked lots of conversations and explanations about our methods!
