Album Covers
This afternoon, we continued using photography to create digital art. However, today, our brief was different: we had to create an album cover in the style of Derrick O. Boateng. He is a Ghanaian artist who is known for using vibrant colours to illustrate his culture. One of his photographs was used as an album cover; this is where our brief took us. We were challenged to design an album cover using photographs taken and edited in the style of Derrick O. Boateng. We chose a style and selected props; then, after taking our photographs, we edited them, experimenting with colours and effects. Mrs Cox and Mr Willars were blown away by them; we think you will like them too!
