Germ Investigation!

Today in Science we talked about the importance of having a good hygiene routine and how it helps us to stay healthy. We talked about washing our hands properly and when it was important to wash our hands. We also talked about germs being like glitter and often tricky to get rid of! We then carried out an experiment. The pepper represented the germs. We measured out 40ml of water into a petri dish and sprinkled pepper on the top of the water. First we put our finger into the water with no soap on our finger. Then we put our finger into the water after we had put it in the washing up liquid. What do you think happened?
