I have a dream...

This week, we have launched our new 'Culture' theme: I have a dream. We spent a session in the immersive room finding out about some of the incredible people who have stood up against discrimination and prejudice. We heard some snippets about their lives as a taster for what we will learn about in more depth in the coming weeks. 

Back in the classroom, we began to discuss South Africa and find out about what apartheid was. The children couldn't believe some of the rules that were in place for so many years.
