Strings recital

This week we enjoyed a visit from NMPAT. They showed us different stringed instruments and taught us that the larger the instrument is, the lower the sound is. We saw and heard a violin, viola, cello, and a bass. The musicians treated us to some amazing performances which we listened to, clapped along to and even pretended to join in with. 
The staff from NMPAT told the children that if they were interested in learning an instrument then the Saturday centres are an amazing place to start! Please do ask us for more information if your child is interested in going along on a Saturday morning.
