Tag! You're it!
In PE this half-term, Year 6 have been focusing on tag rugby and fitness. Over the first few weeks of this topic, the children have been exploring the importance of tackling and passing and how these feed into the rules of tag rugby. We have also been exploring how running stamina, balance and agility can help to improve our overall performance.
It has been great fun to see the children enjoying the games and activities while showing off their cooperation and coordination skills. We look forward to focusing more on tactics amid game situations, as well as swimming and more fitness-related work in the coming weeks.
