A super start!

We have had such a super start to the year in Year 1.

Last week, we completed lots of exciting activities including artwork, flower portraits and even fun with the parachute! We launched into our topic, Land Ahoy, which is all about pirates! This week in English, the children have been writing lists of treasure and labelling pirate ships. In maths, we have been sorting objects into different classifications and practising our counting to 10.

We have loved the enthusiasm from the children and we are very excited for the term ahead!
