Jasper's Beanstalk

This week we have listened to the story, 'Jasper's Beanstalk'.  We talked about the days of the week and then the children wrote sentences about what Jasper did each day.  In maths, we have continued to consolidate our understanding of subtraction.  We have also used the areas well, sewing, drawing, following instructions on how to draw different flowers, printing with leaves and writing days of the week.  We also enjoyed the outside learning garden where we explored water with floating and sinking objects and making tunnels for the water to flow.
