Cartouche Creating- Achieve with Me

Today Yr5 enjoyed having their family members at school to share their learning! Our Summer Achieve with Me session was focused on creating some Egyptian artwork by personalising some hieroglyphs. Yesterday, the children learnt about stone tablets that contained the names of the Egyptian Pharaohs -cartouches. Then, today Year 5 and their adults created their own cartouches using hieroglyphs to represent the letters of their own names. It was lovely to see so many parents (and grandparents) in school and the children produced some fantastic designs!
