Symmetry

Year 2 have been learning about shape in Maths this week, and today we focused on learning about symmetry. We learnt how to find out if a 2d shape had any lines of symmetry and discussed that some shapes have none, while others can have a lot of lines of symmetry. We used mirrors to help us check our work and cut out some paper shapes and folded them to check for symmetry.
