Something New!

This week the children have concluded their dinosaur topic.  They have written labels for parts of a dinosaur skeleton, learnt about Mary Annings and her fossils.  They have used clay and dinosaurs to create their own fossils.  The children enjoyed learning all about 3D shapes in maths.  They have remembered that 2D shapes are flat and 3D shapes are fat!  They then went on a hunt in and around the school for 3D shapes.  They found lots of cuboids and spheres!  The children were very excited to find new items in our home corner.  They found a bowl and dog toys.  They then thought that they would be getting a new pet so they have written a list of items they think they may need.
