Which Animal is Top Trump-tastic?

Year 5 has been studying gestation periods in our Science lessons this week. We looked at human gestation, then moved onto the gestation periods of a number of different animals. Using iPads to complete our research, we made top trump cards about our chosen animals (ranging from rats to elephants) and completed categories on number of young, births in a year, and age before first birth. The children produced some lovely illustrations to go with their facts on their cards. Of course, we had to play Top trumps!!!
