Blooket fun!
This morning, we spent some time revising some key GPS concepts: how to use apostrophes for both possession and omission, and how to use specific prefixes. These are tricky things to master! First, we reminded ourselves of how we use apostrophes to mark where letters have been left out (or omitted) before spending more time looking at the ways that apostrophes show possession and how this changes when plurals are involved. Finally, we looked at some key prefixes (im-, ir-, in- and il) and looked closely at the rules as to when we would use each prefix. We then played some quizzes on Blooket to test our understanding of both concepts further. There were some very competitive games; it was great to see pairs working together to solve the questions in a bid to win!
