Namaste

In PE this half-term, we have been focusing on yoga. We have discussed the reasons for participating in yoga: being able to stretch and focus on relaxation and relieving tension. We have previously spent time going over varying yoga poses and stretches as well as including these in a ‘Sun Salutation’ routine.

This week, it was time to put our knowledge and learning to the test; we created our own yoga routines! Our routines needed to include a few different elements: 12 to 14 poses, focus on how moves would flow together and, for an extra challenge, creating our own stories to go with these routines! As you can see from the pictures below, it was great fun creating these, working collaboratively cooperatively to achieve success.
