Maths Week

This week the children took part in activities relating to a special maths book called Bean Thirteen. The book is all about how a group of friends have  to share 13 beans equally so the children had to solve different ways of making sure each friend had the same amount! This also involved them thinking about remainders and the 5 and 3 x tables. The next activity was to learn about the famous artist MC Escher who discovered tessellation's  and the children got to make their own tessellation shapes
