Roman Homework Heroes!

The response to our recent History homework tasks on the Romans has been epic!!! The children (and parents!) have gone to town constructing, cooking, learning and creating-so that our classrooms have been packed full of home-made shields, swords, mosaics, Colloseums, Pantheons and gladiators. Mr Horsley and some of the other lucky adults in school enjoyed trying delicious Roman honey cakes, Roman bread and biscuits. We have seen fantastic times-table work using Roman numerals, stylish togas (made and modelled), drawings, and fact files of Roman Gods. Well done Yr5 super engagement, the challenge will be next term to top this homework!!!!
