Clarinets in Yr5!

Today 5VN had their first clarinet session with the Sound Start teachers! The children learnt the names of different parts of the clarinet and how to start to assemble the instrument. They were able to see what a difference using a reed makes to the sound produced and the Studio was filled with the first sounds the children were able to make- playing a clarinet! After our next session, the permission letters will go home, and parents will be able to hear their children practising with the clarinets they are allowed to borrow! Tuneful times :)
