What A Wonderful Start To Year 4!

We have had such a fun-packed start back to school in Year 4 and the children have all been absolutely wonderful!  Day one started with a focus on this term's value 'courage', where the children showed how brave they were by trying new foods, putting their hands into mystery boxes (not knowing what was lurking inside them), discussing 'brave or foolish' situations and sharing situations where they had shown courage. This was followed by a range of team-building activities such as treasure hunt quizzes. What animal am I? Building suspended bridges for cars to travel from one table to another, and a very tricky game of 'no hands cup stacking' which required a huge amount of patience, resilience and perseverance from everybody!! We finished off the week with some beautiful artwork and an introduction to our first dimensions curriculum topic unit..l Law and Order- The Anglo Saxons.
