Our new Value is…Creativity

Every new term brings a new Value focus; this term is creativity. 

Why is this such an important value? 
Creativity allows us to view and solve problems more openly and with innovation. It opens the mind and broadens our perspectives. What would the world be without creativity? 

Our teachers have been thinking creatively in their planning of tasks and lessons to give their class opportunities to explore and improve their creativity. Feel free to do the same at home!
 

Values Awards Assembly

On the last day of last term, we celebrated coming to the end of our termly focus in the usual way - red carpet, lights, music, winners, crowds of cheering children! Check out the action via the link below.

Family Bingo - next Friday

You may have seen the School Ping yesterday advertising a Family Bingo event at Woodland View next Friday (26th April). This special event is brought to you by our fantastic PTA, the Friends of Woodland View. Myself and Mrs Matsangou will take on the role of Bingo Callers, as families try their luck at a winning ticket. 
We are expecting this to be a popular event so we are hosting 2 games: 6-7pm and 7.15-8.15pm so hopefully nobody misses out.
The price per person is £3. Refreshments will be available to purchase.
To support our bigger families, those families with 3 children or more, each child will get their first refreshment drink for free!

PE Hoodies

We have received the Key Stage 2 order of PE Hoodies so we hope to distribute them to the children today or early next week. We have had some comments regarding the neck sizes from parents so far so please do let us know if there is an issue with this. For most children this has been fine so we are hoping this will be the case with the bigger sizes.
We are looking forward to seeing the children wearing their new PE Hoodies soon!
