A timeline of inventions

This afternoon, we looked at lots of different inventions through history. We were surprised how far back some things were invented! We started out with all of the interventions, with no dates and had to try and order them along our timelines. Mrs Cox and Mr Willars then gave us hints and clues about some of the dates until we had sorted all of the inventions correctly.

Did you know that John Logie Baird first demonstrated the television in 1926?

Finally, we considered what we thought was the most significant invention and why. What would you choose?
